What does stroke rehabilitation at Maurya involve?
An integrated in-patient programme combining Ayurveda therapies, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, acupuncture and, where needed, speech and swallowing therapy. Patients typically have six sessions a day of about 45 minutes each, along with Ayurvedic internal medicines and a diet plan prescribed by the doctor.
How is the treatment plan decided?
After a medical assessment by our doctors. Recent radiology (CT/MRI) and blood reports are needed; if recent reports are not available, the check-up can be arranged at our centre. The first course is usually one month and is extended based on the patient's progress.

Do you accept patients from outside Kerala?
Yes. Patients come to Maurya from across India. We offer in-patient stays at our budget and premium centres, and a local caretaker can be arranged if the patient needs one.

Yes. Our chief physician speaks Arabic and we welcome patients from the Gulf and other countries. Our team can guide you on the reports to share before travel, the expected duration of stay and accommodation options.
